DENZA Auto officially announced that its new sedan will be named Z9GT, which will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens on April 25. The new car is a global model and will be sold overseas with Denza’s international layout. From the naming point of view, the English DENZA stands for different types, N is for SUV, D is for MPV, and Z is for sedan. Among them, 9 represents the top-of-the-line flagship product, plus the suffix of GT, which represents its different positioning.

Previously, DENZA officially released the spy photos of the car’s overseas tests, and it can be seen that the front face of the new car adopts a very simple design, and the headlight group is narrow and long. It is understood that the new car is designed by a team led by BYD’s global design director Wolfgang Iger, and it is reported that it is not ruled out that the new car will be launched in the future in a hybrid version and a pure electric version.
The side of the car is one of the highlights of the new car, with its sleek body lines and a fast-sliding roof design that allows it to show a momentum that is ready to go, a bit of a “Pameh” feeling. In addition, the overall attitude of the new car is very low, and the ground clearance is very low. We also learned that concealed door handles and frameless doors will be used in new cars.
Combined with the previous news, at the Beijing Auto Show in April, DENZA will bring two flagship sedans. At the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter of 2024, DENZA will launch the technology + launch for the new model.
Zhao Changjiang of Denza Auto has said that the new intelligent luxury flagship sedan is far ahead of the Porsche Panamera and Mercedes-Benz S-Class in terms of space, intelligent configuration, comfort experience and acceleration control, and the elk test score may be close to 90km/h, and the minimum turning diameter is less than 10 meters. DENZA’s all-new intelligent luxury flagship sedan will be equipped with BYD’s unique leading million-level technology, bringing an unprecedented electrification experience to luxury cars.
