The new car adopts a marine aesthetic design and will face a market of 200,000 yuan in the future. The Hiace 07EV is the first model of BYD’s new Hiace IP, and in the future, the Hiace will integrate the SUV model as the Hiace IP and the sedan model as the Seal IP, forming a twin star strategy. At the same time, the car will be launched on May 10.
In terms of appearance, the BYD Hiace 07EV is based on the previous Ocean X concept car, which further strengthens the family style of the Ocean series models. The shape of the whole vehicle is fashionable, and in the upper part of the X shape of the front face, the bold line cutting makes the entire front face more three-dimensional. The Hiace 07EV adopts a floating headlight design called Haiyue Double U, and the decoration of the lamp body and the outer boomerang shape together form the form of the letter C, and the daytime running lights are lit in turn to be full of ceremony.
The side of the body also adopts a double waistline design, and the dynamic lines outline the elegant fastback silhouette of the Hiace 07EV. At the intersection of the D-pillar, the roof and the rear spoiler, the lines are cut to form the X-shape, which echoes the overall style. The tail shape of the Hiace 07EV is full, and the dynamic taillights run through the sea and sky are a highlight of the tail, and the parameterized distribution of point light sources progresses from large to small, showing a certain sense of science and technology.
In terms of interior, Hiace 07EV uses a variety of materials to interpret various forms of marine elements, the soft area accounts for more than 80% of the interior area of the vehicle, and the curve of the upper part of the instrument panel extending to both sides outlines the enveloping shape of “suspended wings”. The new car features a flat-bottomed four-spoke sports steering wheel, a finely crafted crystal gear lever that incorporates aluminium processing techniques for a mechanical feel, and a button around it that integrates common functions such as start, emergency warning lights, automatic parking, and air conditioning.
In terms of configuration, the Hiace 07EV’s ambient lighting provides 128 colors, and the waterfall ambient lighting on the door panel and the floating light inside the glass panel of the instrument panel can match the rhythm of music. The new car is also equipped with a 12-speaker Dynaudio audio, a three-scent fragrance system, a 220V on-board power supply, as well as karaoke, a panoramic canopy (with a glass area of 2.1 square meters), water wipers, NFC key, AR-HUD (with a projection area of up to 50 inches) and other configurations. In addition, the car is equipped with 11 airbags, direct tire pressure monitoring system, driver monitoring assistance and other configurations as standard. In terms of intelligent equipment, the car is equipped with the DiLink 100, a high-end version of the intelligent cockpit, and the DiPilot 100, a high-end intelligent driving assistance system of the Eye of the Gods. Among them, DiLink 100 brings a variety of entry methods, ONE ID and AR HUD, full-scene intelligent voice with four-tone recognition, parallel windows and other functions. In terms of DiPilot 100, the new Hiace 07EV has up to 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 11 cameras, with full-scene intelligent driving, seven intelligent reminder functions, lane keeping, emergency braking and other functions.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1925/1620mm, and the wheelbase is 2930mm. In terms of power, referring to the previous declaration information, it is expected that the car will be provided in three power forms, of which the two-wheel drive version will provide 230kW and 170kW motors respectively, and the four-wheel drive version will have a maximum power of 160kW and 230kW respectively. In addition, the Hiace 07EV adopts the CTB vehicle safety architecture, with a front double wishbone and a rear five-link independent suspension.
